The Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) was visibly amused when he read about the National Democratic Congress' (NDC) prayer for Dr. Bawumia to lose the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries. In fact, he couldn't help but chuckle at the sheer absurdity of it.
"To think that the NDC believes their prayers could actually sway the outcome of the NPP primaries is a laughable fantasy," the MCE declared with a smile. "Do they honestly think that the people of Ghana would allow their political preferences to be determined by the prayers of their opponents? I think not. "
The MCE went on to emphasize the importance of respecting the democratic process, noting that elections should be won through merit and hard work, not by some mystical force. "It's time for the NDC to accept that they cannot control everything that happens in the political sphere," he concluded. "We should all focus on doing what's best for our country and let the people decide who they want to lead them."
