The Accra court has remanded about 39 demonstrators into detention in relation to the demonstration organized by the pressure organization Democracy Hub.
After showing up in court today, ten of the demonstrators who had been detained during the #OccupyJulorbiHouse demonstration were the first to be placed under detention.
The entire group—roughly 39 people—was driven about in various busses with close protection.
The demonstrators faced charges in court of conspiring to commit an unlawful assembly plot.

According to JoyNews Correspondent Kenneth Gyasi, 12 of the initial batch entered not guilty pleas.
Ten of the defendants whose cases were recently heard have been remanded into the custody of the police.
The case will now proceed on October 8, 2024.
The following group of Nine individuals who were charged with conspiring to commit crimes—illegal assembly, inflicting unlawful damage, and offensive conduct resulting in a breach of peace—entered a not guilty plea.
Additionally, they have been remanded to appear again on October 8.
A recent graduate who is performing his National Service is among them.
The third group of 11 demonstrators was next; the other 19 who had been remanded are now being returned to their police cells.
The hearing for this group of eleven has also been postponed until October 8 and they have been remanded into prison custody.
The case of a different group of nine people has been postponed until October 11 and they have been remanded into police custody.
A bench warrant has been issued for one individual who did not appear in the court.
Oliver Baker-Vormawor is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday as the convenor of the #FixTheCountry group.
The three-day protest at the 37 Roundabout saw the detention of protesters who were raising concerns about topics like economic mismanagement and unlawful small-scale mining, known as galamsey.
During the second day of the demonstration on Sunday, September 22, a significant altercation occurred between the demonstrators from Democracy Hub and the Ghana Police Service.
Among those detained was attorney and social media personality Ama Governor.
"Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery," she can be heard yelling as she is led to the courtroom.
