Engen Ghana Limited, anener gy company, has partnered with Prudential Life Insurance Ghana, a leading insurer, to provide life insurance cover for 150 drivers and mechanics through the Mekakrawa insurance policy. The initiative is part of Engen’s drive to promote welfare and ensure the security of their workers. Under the Mekakrawa policy, beneficiaries will receive a lump sum payment in the event of death, total permanent disability or critical illness of the insured person. The beneficiaries will also receive financial support for the funeral arrangements. In addition, the policy offers educational support for up to three children of the deceased or disabled policyholder. Engen's Managing Director, Henry Akwaboah, stated that the welfare of their staff and associates is of utmost importance to the company, hence the partnership with Prudential Life Insurance Ghana to provide comprehensive coverage. He also added that it is a way to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts and commitment of their workforce in these challenging times.
